Early Head Start
An early childhood developmental program
serving children
ages 6 weeks up to 3 years of age.

Enjoy the benefits of a family focused program that offers your child quality care in a nurturing environment. The proven success of our program to meet the needs of young children rests in our ability to support and enhance strong, caring, and continuous relationships designed to nurture the child (and his/her family), as well as our caregiving staff and providers.

A primary goal of our program is to assist you, the parent as primary caregiver, in establishing a developmental path that will prepare your child for long-term success. Our program recognizes and honors that primary caregivers are critical for providing infants and toddlers support and emotional nourishment necessary for healthy development. Infant activities are designed to nourish and channel children in appropriate ways that encourage a sense of initiative and self-directedness. A sense of pleasure, interest in exploration, early imaginative capacities, and the sharing of positive emotions begin at a very young age. The opportunities for play and the skills play develops are integral to healthy development and are infused into our curriculum. During the toddler period, the child, through repeated interactions with emotionally available caregivers, also begins to learn basic skills of self-control, emotional regulation, and negotiation. We help you establish a network of caring relationships that provides and ever-expanding circle of support for both your child and family.
