Your child will benefit most from a quality program that offers age appropriate activities.  And, a program is only as good as the individuals who staff it ­ that is why staff development is central to our mission of providing quality early care and education programming.  Your child will receive services from staff that have a spectrum of knowledge and professional competencies necessary to provide high quality, comprehensive, culturally appropriate, family centered services.  These positive, caregiving relationships will assist you in helping your child develop a positive formation of his/her identity.  Staff has demonstrated the ability to provide leadership and possess other qualities such as integrity, warmth, intuition, and express a holistic approach.  Qualified classroom teachers are a priority in Early Head Start and Head Start. Training is provided to program staff in all components, as well as to independent HomeStart Providers.
